Mortar raking and grinding heads: Concrete Grinding

The P5 – CG diamond cup grinder is used for grinding down high spots on newly laid or old concrete. This double row version provides a fast and aggressive stock removal. For best results use on a dedicated concrete planer such as our PCP125 machine. However, the 100mm (4”) diameter can be used on either the Makita PC1100 modified angle grinder, but segment performance will not be maximized.

The P5 – TCG cup grinder is used for grinding down high spots on either newly laid or old concrete. This continuous turbo design provides a faster, but less aggressive stock removal and is more suitable for sensitive applications such as sandstone or limestone. For best results use on a dedicated concrete planer such as our PCP125 machine. However, the 100mm (4”) diameter can be used on the Makita PC1100 modified angle grinder, but segment performance will not be maximized.

These 250mm (10") diameter plates are made for twin-headed floor grinders. They are predominately used for polishing concrete surfaces and expose the aggregate to leave behind a unique finish. They have universally drilled plates to suit most machine types. Choose 16 segments for high life or 8 segments for quicker stock removal.
